Our surveys attest that the public and decision-makers size up and learn about science from the media. In line with this, HUNSCAN runs and develops ongoing science communication activities as media-projects: we use professional media technology and manage R&D issues in the media. 

Our Conception of Science Communication is Scientific Research Combined with PR and Project Management 
HUNSCAN carries out theoretical and empirical research on science theory, communication philosophy, science policy and sociology of science. Based on this research, HUNSCAN offers specialised practical communication services for organisational units in research networks: PR actions, knowledge marketing, media counsel, image planning, project management. 

HUNSCAN Uses Innovative IT and Multimedia Solutions 
We develop and use innovative means and surfaces of knowledge transfer, and utilise these in our training activities to create efficient auxiliary materials for different levels of education, with special emphasis on e-learning. We spread applications of high-tech presentation methods through the dissemination of research results.

Modern Science Structure Operates via Research Network Building
HUNSCAN works in a network structure, in which independent and academic/university research institutes and media companies collaborate. Aiming to foster cooperation among researchers and workshops at international level, we prepare EU supported programs.
